Want Permanent weight loss results? Healthy Eating is the Key
Dr. Jamie Fettig

The confusion about eating healthy and dieting will now be cleared up, all in one easy sentence. Are you ready? Everyone is different.

What is healthy for one person is not going to be the best diet for everyone else. You are different than everyone else. What food is best for you is not necessarily going to be what is right for everyone else. Some people do well on meat, others dont. Some people are fine with lots of carbs, others not. What food is best for you is really dependent on you and your lifestyle.

I will make it really simple to help you figure out what is good. There are a couple of general rules of thumb that apply to everyone. They are really simple. Are you ready?

1.Fresh
2.Pure

It is that simple. All the food you eat, no matter what kind you eat, should be fresh and pure. It is that simple. Then, just listen to your inner knowing, and it will tell you what to eat that is fresh and pure.

If you are craving steak, eat steak. If you want veggies, eat veggies. If you want some fruit, eat fruit. If you want some nuts or seeds, eat nuts and seeds. When your choices of food are always from the fresh and pure categories, you will eat exactly what you need to eat without having to worry about your carbs, calories, fat, cholesterol, or anything. Its so simple.

So what does fresh mean? Fresh generally means not in a can or box. Most things that are put into cans and boxes are old and dead. The life force has been long gone from the food. It is no longer fresh. Now, stuff in a box or can may be fresh, but it usually isnt. Frozen stuff can go either way. Frozen stuff is usually fresher than boxed or canned stuff. It has to be, because it cannot last as long frozen as it can in a box or can.

What does Pure mean? This means nothing artificial and nothing added, including poisons, pesticides or, one of the biggest culprits, refined carbohydrates, commonly called sugar. Sugar is added to almost everything in a regular grocery store. Even many things in a supposed health food store have sugar added. Pure usually includes the food being organic.

It is my position that if a food product meets the categories of both fresh and pure, it is not inherently bad, ever. There is no one food that is right for everyone and there is no food that if fresh and pure, is wrong for everyone either.

Some people are better off not eating late at night, others are. Some people do well skipping breakfast, others dont. Some people do well with three big meals, others do better snacking all day long. Some do better with variety, some do better with the same thing over and over again. It is really different for everyone.

Choose foods that you want to eat, that sound good to you that are fresh and pure. Listen to your inner wisdom and what it is telling you to eat, and you will be just fine. And Coincidentally, eating healthy and resetting your weight-o-stat is the only permanent “weight loss” solution.

The Truth About Water Help To Loss Weight

You need all the help you can get to shed all those extra pounds, right? Have you heard about water help to loss weight? Some people believe it can, so let’s take a look at this theory to see if it holds any merit.

Weight loss is all about consuming fewer calories each day than what you burn up. This sounds simple enough doesn’t it? So where does water come into play?

Water contains zero calories so you can literally drink as much water as you like without putting on weight. However, you should realize you can drink more water than is good for you. If you should happen to have a water retention problem; it is best to check with your Doctor before going overboard with your water drinking.

But in contrast to any other beverage, you do not need to think twice before drinking water. In fact it should become a regular part of your day as drinking lots of water assists in overall health and well being too.

Water flushes out your system and is simply the best liquid you can drink. If you are trying to lose weight, then ultimately you should totally eliminate any sugar based drinks from your diet. A good example of these types of drinks would be carbonated soft drinks.

These drinks contain nothing of substance and are full of artificial ingredients, not to mention sugar and calories. If you drink two cans of soda per day, it could be just those extra calories that are causing your weight gain. So substituting these with water can eliminate the cause of your weight gain. How simple is that!

Some people dont like the taste of water. Water lovers cant understand this, but its a fact. In all likelihood, people who say they don’t like water probably have only tried plain unfiltered tap water. Tap water also tastes different depending on where you live and even on a house by house basis. If youre a person who dislikes the taste of water based on what comes out of your tap, then try buying spring water.

The taste of spring water even differs by brand, so keep trying them all until you find one you like. Spring water, in some cases, is more pure than tap water and doesn’t contain any harmful bacteria. Some of the best quality spring water tastes absolutely delicious, so make sure you find one to your liking.

Back to water help to loss weight; keep in mind that water is never a substitute for food, but it should simply complement your healthy diet. Instead of a soda or sugar fruit juice at dinner, have a glass or two of water. It is also recommended to start the day off with a refreshing glass of water as it gets your brain active.

Drinking water throughout the day also enhances brain function and keeps you alert. You may start noticing that if you don’t drink water, for most of the day, you’ll suffer from headaches and tiredness.

Water is a wondrous natural substance that all humans need. Water help to loss weight may be the best help you can get, when you are shedding all those extra pounds.

Weight Loss Plans For The Youth Of Today

Being overweight is bad. It is bad for your health it is bad for your self esteem and feelings of self worth. When you are a teenager you have enough other things going on that are hard to deal with, adding obesity and the resultant feelings of insecurity to the mix is not a good thing. The good news is that there are weight loss plans for the youth of today that can help anyone get on a more healthy road.

Virtually anything is harder when you are overweight. It is harder to move, it is harder to meet new people and strike up a conversation. Not to mention the very real toll being overweight takes on your overall health.

Finding the best weight loss plans for the youth of today can really be a fairly simple process, here are some ideas of how to go about it:

1. If you are trying to help your teenager get in better shape, why not lead by example? Do you eat a healthy diet? Do you get enough exercise? If not why not use this as an opportunity to help both your child and yourself?

2. For some who are morbidly obese the best solution may be some sort of weight loss surgery. It is important to get all the facts first though. Your teen must understand that even with weight loss surgery, lifestyle changes will need to be made.

They will need to watch what they eat and they will need to start, and stick with, an exercise plan. Of course, every type of surgery does present risks so this is another thing to consider.

3. For a teen who is only “a little” overweight, say 20 -50 lbs. it can be relatively easy for them to lose that weight them self. Just eating less calories, eating more fresh fruit and vegetables, drinking more water and getting more exercise can make a big impact in a relatively shore amount of time.

Some people find that just changing one small bad habit can make a ton of difference. I have a friend who just gave up drinking soda for a month (and she didn’t even really drink that much, just a couple of cans a day. There are people who drink a lot more than that) and she lost 10 lbs. in just about 30 days.

Think of your habits, is there one thing that really stands out that you may be able to change pretty easily? Even if that one thing isn’t enough to help you lose all the weight you need to lose, it can be a great way to jump start your efforts.

Any journey will require you to take the first step. There are a lot of weight loss plans for the youth of today that are available to anyone who needs a little help. Just find one that appeals to you and go for it. It will take time and there may be times when you get discouraged, but you can do it!
